Bonnie/Dorcas – rehomed!!!!!

This is our FGT – Feel good Thursday, as it deserves an early release!!!

Bonnie (who we featured the other week) had been staying with our foster carers Karen and Terry for some puppy TLC, some socializing and some physio work to help build up her weak leg muscle (following on from her operation). During the time she was with them she proved herself a happy little girl, full of fun and puppy adoration. She was not bothered by Karen and Terry’s many cats (thanks to the time she had spent with Yasmin) and all in all she showed herself as a ‘sound’ puppy.
Karen had been doing her best to find Bonnie a home before it was time for her to go to the rescue centre. Thanks to FB and our website, her story was shared and seen by many.
Well, Bonnie has found her’ furever’ home – or should we say her ‘furever’ owners have found her.
Her new potential owners went to meet Bonnie, Karen and Terry – just so Karen could make sure that her baby Bonnie was the right dog for them (and most importantly, that they were the right family for Bonnie!).
Bonnie has now been renamed, she is now Dorcas and is happily with her new family, Ian and Vivian in Alsancak.
Karen received a message today …. “Dorcas seems to be settling in well with us – she is sleeping now with her head on my feet. We took her to Garfields this morning and had her chipped and registered…… We are absolutely thrilled”.
Not as thrilled as Karen, Terry, Yasmin and everyone at KAR are.
Thank you Ian and Vivian for giving her the life she deserves.
Well done Team KAR!!!!!

special little girl……

Good morning!! This is Bonnie, she is 4 month old, fully vaccinated and will be spayed soon. Her story is posted below. She is currently in foster care to socialise her and hopefully strengthen her leg. We are trying to find her her home before she goes to the centre as her chances of rehoming at that point become slim. So, please consider Bonnie if you are looking for a healthy little girl with oodles of personality!!!
