The happy endings continue! Here’s Zak’s story –
Zak came into our rescue centre in July 2018. He had been tied to a fence by his owner in full sun with no shelter/shade, no water or good food (see the last photo). Thankfully with the help of Girne Belediyesi, we were able to bring him to safety.
A few weeks ago Oswald and Maureen phoned Elaine, our centre supervisor, asking if she had any shepherd dogs, as they had just sadly lost their dog that they had brought with them from the UK, to cancer.
Maureen tells us that Zak has settled very well – he sleeps on her bed, he has his own sofa, he likes sitting in front of the fire and playing with his toys.
It’s amazing how quickly he has adapted to his new life. We are delighted for Zak, after all he has been through, he has finally found a loving home.
