Travelling Pets….. owners are always worried about how their pets will travel. They often worry about them much more than they do about themselves. As much as we try to reassure them (owners and pets !) it is still a stressful time.
This has been been even more so due to the imposed Co Vid restrictions here and in the UK.
Here we have been dealing with delayed or cancelled flights – restricted flight options – unsuitable aircraft – subtle changes in some of the regulations.
In the UK owners are facing, amongst other Co Vid restrictions, Tier Lockdowns – some travel restrictions into other areas – important when they are collecting their pets or they are being delivered..
All of these we are having to take into account when organising pets travel to the UK.
This week we had 3 very “Cool” customers travelling. Even we were amazed at how quickly they all settled into their boxes (which we made as comfy as possible) – they just snuggled down ready for their big adventure.
All 3 of them (Barney, Rolo and Garfield) had had several travel plans disrupted and the owners were very worried that their pets were “stuck” in the TRNC – but at last it was time for them to say Goodbye TRNC and Hello UK.
They left a warm balmy Ercan at silly o’clock on the Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and arrived at a cold windy Heathrow later in the afternoon.
They were certainly “Cool calm and collected (or delivered) ” pets.
Elaine says of Barney ” Barney has settled in very well he has been no trouble at all he loves the park and lots of cuddles we both said it’s like he has been here much longer than he has!
Kay told us “Rolo’s arrived in UK, my nephew has him in the car on his way to Wales. He’s all dressed up in his Gucci coat,collar and lead….spoilt already.”
“He was cwtched (Welsh for cuddle) all way home wrapped in a warm blanket as its cold there. Even customs at Heathrow said what a calm lovely placid dog.”
